TEXAS β€” There’s less than one month left in basketball season which means football is right around the corner.

The NFL dropped the schedules for the fall and you can get limited tickets now.

The Dallas Cowboys will be kicking things off with Tom Brady and the Buccaneers at home for their first official game of the season on Sept. 11. They opened against Tampa Bay last year as well, losing 31-29.

There are only three exhibition games this year, marking the shortest preseason the franchise has had. Preseason starts with two games on the West Coast, to accommodate their training camp in Oxnard, California. Week 1 of the preseason, August 11-14 will be in Denver. The second game the following week will be against the LA Chargers on the road, and the final game before the season starts will be at home at the AT&T stadium against Seattle August 25-28.

Over in H-Town, the Texans kick off their official season against the Indianapolis Colts on Sept. 11

They will have two preseason games at home against the Saints and 49ers, and one on the road against the LA Rams. Although the Texans start the season with four of their six games on the road, they will be traveling less miles this year compared to last year and the year before.
