TEXAS — Texas native and global superstar Beyoncé Knowles-Carter announced her highly anticipated “Cowboy Carter Tour.”
Following the singer's historic wins at the 67th Grammy Awards, taking home Best Country Album, Album of the Year and Best Country Duo/Group Performance for Cowboy Carter, more information about the upcoming tour was revealed.
In the late night hours, a flyer titled "Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit Tour" was posted to Beyoncé's page with the caption "SHE COMING." The picture included nine cities, one of them being Houston, the Knowles-Carters' hometown. Beyoncé's hoedown is stopping in Houston for two nights, only on June 28 and June 29.
Presale for tickets begin Tuesday, Feb. 11, according to Ticketmaster. General tickets go on sale on Feb. 14.
A short video posted on the singer’s Instagram at around midnight on Sunday confirmed weeks of speculation of whether she was going on tour following her Christmas Day performance at the Houston Texans-Baltimore Ravens game. Following the game, which streamed on Netflix, a short clip of Beyoncé atop a horse waving a flag included the date “1.14.25” at the end.
Fans went crazy online deciphering if the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer was releasing a new album, announcing a tour or unveiling a new business venture.
In Sunday’s Instagram post, it was simply a flashing sign that read “Cowboy Carter Tour.” There was a second post with Beyoncé in platinum braids and bleached brows accompanied with the caption “COWBOY CARTER TOUR 2025.”
Since the post, there have been no dates revealed by Beyoncé or any on her website, nor any ticket details.
Beyoncé’s initial announcement on Jan. 14 was postponed due to the fires sweeping across California, which destroyed many homes and claimed lives. Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, revealed on Instagram that she lost her Malibu home in the fires.
The tour announcement came just ahead of the 67th Grammy Awards airing Sunday night, where Beyoncé led in nominations with 11 nods, bringing her career total to 99 nominations.
