Tony Buzbee announced on Instagram Thursday night that his law firm, The Buzbee Law Firm, was selected to pursue personal injury claims on behalf of “more than fifty individuals.”

Buzbee said that the group of people he represents include both men and women and also said that many of them were minors at the time of the alleged abuse. He called the victims’ stories “gut wrenching and heartbreaking.”

“The violations against this group of individuals are mindboggling and can only be described as debauchery and depravity, exacted by powerful people against minors and the weak,” Buzbee’s post said. “I expect the group seeking redress will grow as this case progresses. I expect many other individuals will be implicated.”

Buzbee, who has also represented multiple women accusing NFL quarterback Deshaun Watson of sexual assault, said he plans to have a press conference early next week.

“We are proud to represent this group of brave souls and pray for justice on their behalf,” the post said.

Combs was arrested in New York on Sept. 16 and indicted on charges of federal sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy. He pleaded not guilty in court the next day and is still in jail after a judge denied him bail

The indictment, which was unsealed last week, alleges Combs through his businesses facilitated and presided over many sexual crimes and blackmailed victims and witnesses through kidnapping, arson and physical beatings.

Multiple people have come forward accusing Combs of sexual assault, and he is facing numerous other civil lawsuits
