TEXAS — Fourth of July weekend is upon us, and if you’re still last-minute planning, we’ve got you covered.

The iconic fireworks show hosted by H-E-B Austin Symphony is back this year at Vic Mathias Shores in Austin.

Festivities kick off at 8 p.m., with an MC welcoming dignitaries and special guest. The concert starts at 8:30 p.m. followed by “mile-high” fireworks. This event is free and open to the public. Street closures and road reductions will be in place, so be sure to plan your transportation accordingly.

The legendary Willie Nelson’s Fourth of July Picnic is also back this year at the Q2 Stadium. Featuring a star-studded lineup that includes Steve Earle & the Dukes and Allison Russell, the annual event started by Willie Nelson in 1972 will kick off at noon on July 4. Hill Country Galleria will be hosting its Independence Day Festival on Monday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. It will host more than 60 art vendors and has a full live music line-up at the Central Plaza. Admission and parking is free to the public. There will be fireworks.

Fair Park Fourth is back after a hiatus since 2019. The free event kicks off at Fair Park in Dallas at 4:30 p.m. and goes until 10 p.m. There will be live music, hands-on activities for kids, food trucks and fireworks. People can experience the fireworks show from inside the Cotton Bowl or across Fair Park.

Fort Worth will be hosting the largest fireworks show in North Texas on Monday at its 15th annual Fort Worth’s Fourth. Gates open at 5 p.m. and admission is free. The event takes place along Trinity River at Panther Island Pavilion>

The City of San Antonio will be hosting its H-E-B Fourth of July Celebration at Woodlawn Lake Park from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. The event is free and family-friendly. There will be food trucks, carnival games and live performances from the U.S. Air Force Band of the West and DJ Plata.
