1. 78,000 pounds of infant formula arrives in U.S.

A military plane carrying enough specialty infant formula for more than half a million baby bottles arrived Sunday in Indianapolis, the first of several flights expected from Europe aimed at relieving a shortage that has sent parents scrambling to find enough to feed their children.

President Joe Biden authorized the use of Air Force planes for the effort, dubbed “Operation Fly Formula,” because no commercial flights were available.

2. Border resident spurs complaint on Texas guardsmen's unsafe driving

3. Hispanic-owned Box St. restaurant opens during small business boom

Hispanic-owned businesses are growing at the fastest rate in more than a decade. A popular brunch spot in downtown San Antonio is a part of that boom.

Texas Next: Randolph freshman captures four golds at state track meet

There were some incredible performances at this year’s high school state track meet, but few compare to what Taylor Nunez did. The freshman from Randolph High School outside of San Antonio captured four gold medals.

“I think it’s a great accomplishment, I’ve put in so much hard work,” says Nunez. “It was kind of hard physically but mentally as well, because I just wanted to make everybody proud.”
