After a very dry October, November is also starting on a dry note.

Eleven days into November and dry conditions continue to grip the Lone Star State. 

In Austin, Camp Mabry has not had any rainfall so far this month. At Austin-Bergstrom Airport, there has only been a trace of rain.

 

Lake Travis is running very low. The latest levels are 659.81 feet. This is only 69% of normal. 

Lake Buchanan is also running very low. The latest levels are 1014.14 feet. This is only 86% of normal.

San Antonio’s airport has only received a trace of rain this month.

In Dallas, DFW Airport has also only seen a trace of rainfall this month, running over an inch deficit. 

Drought continues to expand across the state. Unfortunately, with La Niña in control, drought is likely to continue into the next several months.
