An active weather pattern is expected for South Texas through the next 48 hours. Wednesday will see cloudy skies with high and mid-level moisture streaming by on the southern Jetstream. A few sprinkles might fall from the overcast skies. Highs should reach the upper 60s this afternoon.

Overnight, the first of two boundaries will pass through South Central Texas. A wind shift line is forecast to sweep across the region before sunrise Thursday. This may produce some showers and a few thunderstorms mainly along and east of I-35. Any showers that develop will move quickly east.
