SAN ANTONIO -- In the midst of all the panic and gloom surrounding coronavirus (COVID-19), despite it all, we are seeing random acts of kindness popping up around our communities.

Imagine being a server and looking down at the bill and seeing a $1,000 tip. That's just what happened Wednesday night at San Antonio's iconic Barn Door Restaurant.

It came from a loyal patron who wanted to do something nice for the servers. His bill was only $241.

Just hours prior, the restaurant announced that in compliance with the San Antonio's mandate, it would be closing its doors for the next seven days.
