SAN ANTONIO – The Alamo City is lighting up, serving up hot chocolate and providing all the holiday feels with music, Santa and more across town during the month of December.

Here are a few places you may want to put on the list to visit during the Christmas season:

Lighting of the Alamo Grounds -- The Alamo

Friday, December 6, 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Ground lighting and outdoor movies including: Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer and Frosty's Winter Wonderland

Saturday, December 7, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

History program and wreath-making experience.

Illume: Making Spirits Bright -- San Pedro Creek Culture Park, December 14, 6 p.m. – 9p.m.

Free and open to the public.

Palo Alto College Holiday Light Experience – Thursday, December 5 to Sunday January 5

Alamo Colleges District–Palo Alto College will illuminate its campus for what will be the largest drive-through holiday light display in south San Antonio. The month-long event will kick off with a Holiday Lighting Ceremony from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday featuring free winter activities including a snow slide, ice skating rink, photos with Santa, and more.

Old West Christmas Light Fest at Enchanted Springs Ranch – 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Thursday through Sunday throughout December. Check here for more details.

Pearl Holiday Night Markets -- December 5, 12, and 19 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Posada at Pearl will be held December 18.

6th Annual Christmas at the Caverns -- Natural Bridge Caverns, December 7, 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. and every weekend until Christmas.
