AUSTIN, Texas — Advocates for marijuana policy reform are in Austin this weekend to talk about the state's cannabis industry.

The group Texans for Responsible Marijuana Policy will host nearly 100 speakers for the second annual Texas Marijuana Policy Conference. Speakers will talk about the state's new market for legal hemp, and the expansion of the medical marijuana program.

The conference will also include discussions about law enforcement and testing.

Some of the speakers include Assistant Agriculture Commissioner Dan Hunter, Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg, and Texas Senator José Menéndez.

The event runs through Sunday at the Sheraton Austin near the State Capitol. Tickets are available on the conference’s website.
