TEXAS – As a powerful storm knocked out power to thousands of people in Central Texas on Thursday, photos and videos of the damage came flooding into the Spectrum newsroom.

Hail was spotted in southwest Austin the size of quarters with largest hail up to 2 inches wide. 

 

Meteorologist Adam Krueger captured the moment a burst of wind knocked out power to more than 50,000 people in San Antonio.

 

A San Antonio viewer saw a billboard knocked over by the strong wind off of Interstate 10.
 
San Antonio reporter Sarah Duran found water on Interstate 10 north of downtown.
Dime-sized hail was spotted in South Austin, near Ben White and South 1st Street.
Trees are blocking streets and traffic signals are down after Thursday's storm. 
 
After the storm, Spectrum News San Marcos Bureau reporter Stacy Rickard captured a double rainbow emerging from the clouds.
