On Wednesday, a few pop-up showers & storms could hit the TX Hill Country but rain should be brief according to computer models, with an overall 20% chance.

High pressure moves over the Lone Star State for Thursday and Friday, and that means the atmosphere will stabilize and become less ripe for rain.  It also means a slight warm-up is in store, with highs in the upper 80s to close out the week.

The next cold front will probably not make it all the way down to the Alamo City but could help stir up storms as it crosses the northern part of Texas through the first half of the upcoming weekend.

Models show the dryline getting active on Saturday, possibly sending some hailstorms into our region during the day.  For now, it's a 50% chance for showers & storms, some of which might be heavy at times.

Fortunately, this weather system is expected to quickly move east, with plenty of sunshine in its wake for our Sunday.  It'll be quite warm, too, with daytime highs approaching 90 degrees.

Enjoy the weather!
