He is currently being held on a $1 million bond.

During a follow-up in the neighborhood, her ex-husband was discovered at the home but had no comment on her death.

Neighbors nearby said the woman lived inside the home for 20 years and that her son recently moved out.

Police later arrested a second teen suspect, Daniel Saucedo, for his involvement in the 53-year-old woman's death.

Although they described her as a quiet person they said she was a good neighbor and appeared to be a good mother.

"I mean, I just don't see why someone would want to do something to her because she is always to herself and always home. She was fixing her house and cleaning it up but we never saw anything come out of that house," neighbor Maria Solis said.

One woman said she couldn't believe the son was a suspect.

Police have not released specifics on how or why the woman was killed. Both suspects remain behind bars.
