SAN ANTONIO – A man is dead after pulling a gun on another man, who took the gun and shot him in the face on the East Side, according to San Antonio police.

At 1:19 a.m. on Monday the man called someone he had known for a couple of weeks, and said he was going to stop by to talk. The man arrived with an accomplice at the home on Leonidas Drive.
The armed men approached the house and a fight ensued. The resident was able to take the gun away from one of the men, shooting him in the face and chest.
The other man fled the scene on foot. EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Witnesses are being interviewed by police.
