SAN ANTONIO -- The San Antonio Commanders announced Operation Homefront as its team community partner on Thursday, as part of the Alliance of American Football’s Heart of the Alliance program.

  • Will donate $50,000 to Operation Homefront and tickets to each home game

Operation Homefront is a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to build strong, stable, and secure military families by providing financial assistance and permanent housing and other services.

In support of the partnership, the Commanders will honor veterans and their families at each home game and Commanders players will support various Operation Homefront events throughout both the season and off season.

In addition, the Commanders will donate $50,000 to Operation Homefront and tickets to each home game.

“As we were searching for a community partner, we knew we wanted an organization with a strong focus on our military,” San Antonio Commanders president Vic Gregovits said. “This partnership is an opportunity for the Commanders to show our appreciation of those that have served our country.”
