SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio’s final city manager candidate Erik Walsh will be at UTSA’s downtown campus Wednesday evening for a San Antonio Speak Up Forum.

  • Public invited to attend and ask questions
  • UTSA Downtown Buena Vista Theater at 6 p.m.
  • Questions will also be taken online

The public is invited to attend and ask questions to get to know the man who is expected to help run the City of San Antonio.

Walsh is the last candidate standing out of 31 who originally applied for the position.

He was born and raised in San Antonio, graduated from Central Catholic High School and went on to Trinity University where he graduated with a bachelor’s and master’s degree and even played football.

He's been working for the city for more than two decades.

Walsh also has experience as a deputy city manager working under current City Manager Sheryl Sculley.

Last week, he said this to the community:

"San Antonio is my home and I want it to be at the top of everybody's list. Whether it's the best place to live, best place to work or best place to raise a family."

Wednesday’s forum is happening at the UTSA Downtown Buena Vista Theater.

It all starts at 6 p.m.

Free parking available at lot D3 under I-35.

Questions will also be taken through the City's Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages and is available to online.
