SAN ANTONIO – For those looking to wrap up Christmas and ditch their tree, there are local services that can help get it out of the house.
Texas Disposal Systems is accepting unflocked Christmas trees for recycling free of charge this holiday season. All trees must be free of lights, ornaments, and other non-living contaminants.
A $45 contamination fee will be charged for trees that have not been cleaned of decorations.
Several drop-off locations will be open from December 26 until January 31.
