SAN ANTONIO, Texas — A very special Christmas Day present came unexpectedly for one San Antonio family.
- Baby arrived a week early
- Born Tuesday at 4:55 a.m.
- 7 lbs, 6 oz.
Madison Kensely Martinez was born at 4:55 Tuesday morning. She weighed seven pounds, six ounces, and measured nearly 20 inches long.
The mother calls her second little girl a Christmas miracle. She says Santa gave her family the greatest gift ever.
“She was supposed to be here New Year’s Day. I was scheduled for January 1 at 9 a.m. for a C-section, but she’s like ‘no I don’t want to miss any festivities.’ Yes, she gave us the greatest gift of all — her,” said the newborn’s mother, Ashley Alvarado.
The Children's Hospital of San Antonio gave the Alvarado’s some cool holiday perks.
They received a giant teddy bear, toys, and Spurs tickets.
