NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – A San Antonio woman is in custody for allegedly stealing packages in New Braunfels.

According to New Braunfels police, Lana Krupka, 42, was arrested on Sunday after reports of a suspicious person tampering with community mailboxes.
With the help of an anonymous tip, officers were able to track down Krupa's car, and arrested her during a traffic stop.
Officials found hundreds of packages, envelopes, and methamphetamines in her vehicle. The packages were stolen from several New Braunfels neighborhoods including the Caprock subdivision and Legend Pond subdivision.
Krupka will face several charges, including theft and possession of a controlled substance.
