SAN ANTONIO - A fire absolutely gutted an apartment building late Monday night, and investigators suspect arson.

About 10:15 p.m. Monday, San Antonio firefighters responded to a blaze at a building located at 433 Furnish Avenue that contained three apartment units.
According to arson investigators, the occupants of one of the units were recently evicted from the property. San Antonio police took one person into custody in connection to the fire.
Damage is estimated at between $50,000 and $80,000. There were no immediate reports of injuries.
