SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio-area high school is on high alert after a threat was found scrawled on a bathroom wall.

  • Threat found in Samuel Clemens High School
  • Police increasing security presence
  • Students should say something if they see something

The Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Independent School District is investigating the threat made against Samuel Clemens High School, and taking security precautions.

Parents and students should expect to see more security at the school on Monday. The threat was found written on a bathroom wall Friday afternoon.

District officials said they are working with the Schertz Police Department, and other law enforcement to step up their security presence, even if the statement is not deemed credible.

Over the weekend, district leaders issued a letter to parents of Clemens High School students.

Students and staff are urged to remember to say something if they see something that doesn’t seem quite right.
