Friday was a very wet day around the region, and as our very slow-moving storm system continues to roll through the Southeast, shower chances are lingering for Saturday.

The showers should largely be over for our foothill and piedmont spots by tonight, but shower chances will continue in the mountains at times tonight and Sunday. In fact, a little snow is possible in the High Country by Sunday afternoon and evening.

Highs today will be in the 50s for the piedmont and 40s in the mountains.

Sunshine will return to the foothills and piedmont Sunday with highs around 60. Monday will be sunny with low and mid 60s in the piedmont and 40s in the mountains.

The dry weather will stick around Tuesday and Wednesday, but then our next system will bring another round of rain by later Thursday.
