SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are investigating a shooting on the city's East Side late Tuesday night.

Police said a gunman opened fire on two homeless men lying on the sidewalk at 11 p.m. on East Commerce Street.
One victim was taken to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds to the groin. There is no word on the other man's condition.
The suspect is described as a black male with braids. San Antonio detectives are investigating.
