SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Aquarium remains closed after not completely passing inspection on Wednesday.

After being shut down by the Leon Valley Fire Department exactly a week ago, the San Antonio Aquarium was expected to open this Monday or Tuesday.

According to Leon Valley City Manager Kelly Kuenstler, the aquarium passed electrical and plumbing inspections.

It did not pass the fire inspection regarding issues on fire exits.
No definite re-opening has been announced.
