SAN ANTONIO – Authorities are investigating a drunken driving crash that left one person dead early Tuesday morning.

Police said the incident happened around 12:45 a.m. on the city's Northeast Side.
The driver was turning off Rittiman Road onto Harry Wurzbach when she lost control of her sedan. The vehicle rolled over into a parking lot on the other side of the street.
The passenger, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene. EMS transported the driver to the hospital where she was booked for intoxication manslaughter.
According to police, alcohol and speed are a factor in the crash.
