HOUSTON, Texas -- People across the country are mourning the loss of former President George H.W. Bush.

Bush died at his Houston home Friday night surrounded by loved ones at the age of 94. People have been leaving tributes to Bush outside the gates of his neighborhood since news of his death broke.

The gates are adorned with flowers and wreaths. People in Houston adored the former first couple.

Bush’s funeral will be Wednesday at the National Cathedral in Washington D.C. President Trump and past presidents will be in attendance. From there Bush’s body will be taken by train to College Station, where he will be laid to rest next to Barbara and their daughter Robin.

We spoke with one woman who made the trip from Santa Fe, New Mexico to pay homage to the former president.

“I was about 12 when my maw-maw took me to the presidential library at college station. I learned all about him there,” said Haley Morin.
