It is estimated that more than 49 million people would be traveling by car more than 50 miles away from home.

On Sunday, Spectrum News talked with a few of those drivers as they made their way along Interstate 95 in Cumberland County. Peter Steinberger, a Florida resident, likely had more than 10 hours driving ahead of him. We asked if he was anxious to get all that driving behind him.

"Yeah, but thankfully the weather is nice and that helps a lot. You know, we don't mind spending time in the car," he said.
