SAN ANTONIO – A man is in a hospital with multiple gunshot wounds after a drive-by shooter fired several shots at a home late Wednesday night.
Around 10 p.m. a man was shot inside his home on the 4135 block of Sunrise Crest. The 24-year-old man was shot twice in the abdomen and once in each arm.
Neighbors told police they saw a dark colored SUV pull up to the house and fire a weapon. The suspects fled, then drove back to the home and picked up the shell casings before fleeing again.
The victim ran out of the house trying to get help. A neighbor drove him to the hospital.
Police found blood and shell casings in the street.
Detectives are actively investigating.
