SAN ANTONIO — One man is dead and two others are in the hospital after a road rage incident, according to police.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday on the city's West Side, not far from Henry B. Gonzalez Elementary. Police say a suspect opened fire on a driver and killed him.

Two passengers were hurt and transported to University Hospital and are reported to be in critical condition. Police identified the two injured men as 22-year-old Daniel Chavarria and 18-year-old Robert Serrato.

The victim has been identified as 23-year-old Jesus Garcia. 

Police are now searching for the suspect who fled the scene in a White SUV.
