SAN ANTONIO -- The city of San Antonio is kicking off Pride Month with a family fair.

Saturday, the Historic Market Square was filled with different activities for families to do.

There were some booths that offered information on services for the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender communities. Several representatives from local LGBTQ programs also participated in the information fair.

"We want to make sure that everybody feels equal in the community and the family we want to ensure they like an American like anyone else,” said Ricky Ramirez, with the Human Rights Campaign.

This is the second year the fair was held.
