It's been a cool and drippy morning with areas of drizzle.  Expect drizzle to come to an end this afternoon with the scattered showers diminishing early this afternoon. Temperatures will be about 15 degrees below normal only reaching the mid and upper 60s.

We'll finally clear out some tonight going into Sunday.  Temperatures will be nice and cool overnight with lows in the mid 50s.  With sunshine mixed with a few clouds Mother's Day, high temperatures will reach the upper 70s.

Another upper level area of low pressure right now off the coast of California is forecast to move eastward early next week.  We'll start to see our chances for showers and thunderstorms ramp up.  Overall a 30% chance for showers and thunderstorms on Monday will rise to 60% Tuesday before waning to 30% Wednesday.

Drier and hotter weather is forecast toward the end of the week.  Highs will be near 90 Thursday and Friday.
