Temperatures have been near or below normal since last Wednesday but, thanks to lots of sunshine, we're heading back into the comfort zone today.  The forecast calls for highs in the low 70s.

Some patchy morning fog looks to be the only weather concern, and it only lasts for a brief amount of time before clearing commences.  We're looking for partly to mostly sunny skies for several hours this afternoon along with light, dry winds from the west-southwest.

Low clouds and patchy fog will return very late tonight and might slow down some of our Friday morning commute.  It'll be a mostly cloudy finish to the week, and we might see a few brief sprinkles as more moisture arrives from the Gulf of Mexico.  It's an overall 20% rain chance tomorrow.

A powerful polar cold front is still on track to arrive very early Saturday morning yet computer models suggest it might not be as strong as predicted several days ago.  While there still might be a few rumbles of thunder as the front arrives overnight, the chance for showers & storms looks lower now at only 30%.

Clouds will clear out early Saturday as strong northerly winds take hold, bringing a blustery chill into the area for the first half of the weekend with daytime 50s feeling like 40s.  Temps could dip into a light freeze Saturday night, especially in the Hill Country.  There might be a light freeze in the suburbs again Monday morning, too, then the afternoon looks comfortable with daytime temps warming into the low and mid 60s for our MLK holiday.

Another polar front is timed to arrive next Tuesday and it, too, could stir up a little bit of rain.
