Warm 70s return for the first time since Saturday, and the only weather feature that might get in your way today is the wind.  The forecast calls for gusty south-southwest breezes, abundant sunshine, and an afternoon high around 71 at a time of year when 67 is considered normal.  In other words, not bad!

Those high Pacific clouds will continue to stream over the southern half of Texas.  At the same time, moisture from the Gulf of Mexico will return to the area today.  We'll eventually see the evidence of the higher humidity in the form of low clouds and patchy fog, which could develop right around sunrise tomorrow.  We think it'll be thickest south and east of Austin.

Looks like cool 50s tomorrow to start then we'll turn to more sunshine and another big warm-up with highs approaching 80 degrees.

Low clouds, fog, and patchy drizzle could become a nuisance again for our Friday morning commute.  Once the clouds burn off, we'll wrap up the week with some low 80s Friday afternoon.

Our in-house model shows some spotty showers trying to push north from the Texas coast especially Friday night.  It'll be a slim 20% rain chance locally Friday through very early Saturday morning as a breezy, fairly benign cold front arrives.

The forecast shows a beautiful weekend ahead, with morning 50s and afternoon 70s along with plenty of sunshine.

A stronger polar cold front is still time to arrive first thing Monday with a very low rain chance.  It'll pack more of a punch as far as cooler temps for the first half of next week.
