Why does the Texas primary election matter?

All eyes are focused on November, but Texans have the chance to go to the polls even sooner.

Texas votes in the primary election this spring on March 3, and it's more than choosing a Presidential candidate. On this day, Texas will choose their candidates for U.S. Senate,  representatives to the U.S. House, members of the Texas Senate and State Representatives, members of the court, and many local issues that impact your community.

Absentee and early in-person voting starts on February 18 and continues through February 28. Follow this link for a complete voting calendar.
