Organizers for SXSW said the festival drew in over 417,000 visitors at their last in-person event in 2019.

Although they said this year likely won’t reach such high numbers, a large influx of tourists descended onto Austin for the first in-person SXSW since that time. With them comes traffic, busy sidewalks, crowded restaurants and lots and lots of lines.

Our Joe Barlow and Jordan Hicks can’t seem to agree on whether those lines are a good thing or a bad thing.
