DALLAS  — Flight delays and cancellations are ongoing Thursday morning as a major winter storm moving through Texas creates icy conditions. 

Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport reported its first runway as reopened.

Thursday at 9:18 a.m., DFW reported that the airport is open but that crews were working to clear runways. The situation at the airport was described as fluid. 

According to FAA. If you need to travel out of DFW Thursday or are expecting someone to arrive, you are urged to check flight status before traveling to the airport.
