AUSTIN, Texas -- New polling shows former Vice President Joe Biden with a slight lead over Senator Bernie Sanders among Democratic primary voters in Texas.

The new numbers from The Texas Lyceum show Biden pulling 28 percent with 2 points over Sanders. Senator Elizabeth Warren coming in third with 13 percent and former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg rounding out the top four with 9 percent.

However, in head-to-head match ups President Donald Trump remains in front of the top Democratic candidates, but Sanders polls the highest in Texas with 47 percent of the vote to the president's 50 percent.
