AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin Police Department searched for for 12-year-old Avery Reynolds Saturday afternoon for several hours after issuing an amber alert.
Later Saturday evening, Austin Independent School District police confirmed she had been found safe.
Police said Reynolds was in immediate danger.
She was last seen in Austin on January 10. Police are also looking for a 43-year-old woman in connection to Reynolds’ disappearance. They say the woman is driving a black 2005 Mazda Tribute S with Texas license plate number DTM3557. The front end is damaged and there is a Texas Tech University emblem on rear left side.
