The marathon starts at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 with The Phantom Menace and will feature the franchise's nine films played in order, ending with a 5 p.m. screening of The Rise of Skywalker on Thursday, December 19, 2019.

However, before you set yourself up this theatrical challenge, there are several facts you should know about:

  • There are approximately 21 hours of film in total
  • There will be five to 15 minute breaks inbetween
  • You can't leave the theater
  • Attendees will receive a commemorative pin, free popcorn, and a free blanket
