LLANO COUNTY — UPDATE (July 14, 2019 3:23 p.m.) Authorities have recovered the body of the boat operator.

(Original Story) Texas Game Wardens are searching for a missing person, following a boat crash on Lake Lyndon B. Johnson on Friday, July 12.

Officials say the boat struck a large wave, ejecting everyone from the vessel.

First responders located all the occupants except for the boat operator.  

On Saturday, four boats comprised of game wardens and Lower Colorado River Authority rangers searched for the missing person. They used side-scan sonars and incorporated the use of a Texas Parks and Wildlife K9 and Dive Team.
