AUSTIN, Texas – Police are investigating after a woman was shot at a southeast Austin apartment complex during a home invasion Tuesday morning.

Around 7 a.m. a shooting was reported at an apartment complex on 1505 Sunnyvale St. According to police, three people forcefully entered the woman’s apartment and shot her twice with a semi-automatic handgun.
The woman was transported to a hospital with with non-life threatening injuries. A man inside of the home was not injured.
Police are searching for the three suspects, described as two men and one woman. Their motive is unclear.
