AUSTIN, Texas —  Friday, May 17 is National Bike to Work Day. Those who plan on riding their bike to work might be able snag some free breakfast and coffee on their route.

In Austin, there will be 40 fueling stations for cyclists offering free coffee, snacks, and swag.

There will also be a Bike From Work After Party with live music and drinks at Cheer Up Charlie’s from 5 to 8 p.m. To score a free drink at the after party, cyclists can pick up a Bicycle Passport at the morning fueling stations. At every fueling station the cyclist visits they get a stamp. Cyclists can bring their passport to the after party to get a free drink and enter a prize drawing.

In the video below David Beck’s Tejano Weekend band kicked off Bike to Work Day on the Lamar Street Bridge. They will also be at the Bastrop Music Festival this weekend.
