ROUND ROCK, Texas — Round Rock police are searching for the driver who hit and killed a man early Wednesday morning and drove off.

Police say 25-year-old Cleveland Elliott was walking near Gattis School Road just west of Surrey Drive when the vehicle struck him. The incident happened Wednesday between 12:30 a.m. and 1:45 a.m. Elliott was transported to a hospital where he died from his injuries.
