AUSTIN, Texas — Two Austin sisters gave birth just 50 minutes apart from each other at St. David's Women's Center of Texas.

  • Both babies born at Women's Center of Texas
  • Babies born 50 minutes apart
  • Both mothers and babies are doing well

One of the newborns is the second for former UT receiver Jaxon Shipley. Both mothers and their babies are doing well. But the mothers are still in disbelief that the births happened so close together.

"As soon as I had him or maybe while I was in labor, I don’t really remember, all that’s kind of a blur. But I knew that my mom was running around in the hallway saying Brogan’s in labor” said Blaze Shipley, who recently gave birth.

“It’s just so important to us that family comes first and these are our best friends in the world so I just pray over the two of them that they’ll be forever close from the get-go," said new mother Brogan Hene.

The Women's Center of Texas delivers the most babies in Travis County. It expects to deliver more babies than ever in 2019.
