AUSTIN, Texas – U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., will be in Austin on Monday for a dinner honoring Democratic leaders.
Pelosi is taking part in this year's Johnson Bentsen Richards Dinner hosted by the Travis County Democratic Party.
The dinner honors three Texas Democratic leaders:
- President Lyndon Johnson
- Sen. Lloyd Bentsen
- Former Gov. Ann Richards
The Mistress of Ceremonies will be Fox News Progressive Political Analyst Jehmu Greene.
A VIP reception will take place before the dinner from 5 to 6 p.m. honoring activist Aimee Cunningham. The dinner starts at 6 p.m. at the Hyatt Austin.
