AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin Police Department has recovered a large number of phones stolen from people who attended week one of the 2018 Austin City Limits Music Festival.

The dates for the event were October 4 – 6 2018.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Department in Kissimmee, Florida intercepted a package containing several cell phones that had been shipped there from Austin. After an investigation, three Colombian nationals were arrested.

34-year-old Edward Javier Garcia-Castano, 34-year-old Estivenson Blanco-Rubiano, and 25-year-old Wilmer Arias-Arias are charged with trafficking stolen property across state lines.

APD says no local charges will be filed.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement deported the suspects back to Colombia for immigration offenses.
