AUSTIN, Texas — A man is recovering in a hospital after being injured on a bike trail in Northwest Austin.

Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the call at around 11 a.m. Saturday. A man in his 50s was injured on a bike trail near Avery Ranch. According to EMS, it was difficult for paramedics to retrieve the man from the scene due to the difficult terrain.
EMS transported the man to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center. He is being treated for serious non-life threatening injuries. Officials did not say what caused the injuries.
