NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – A 23-year-old man is dead after crashing into the back a utility trailer that was attached to an 18-wheeler early Saturday morning.

According to police, New Braunfels Police and Fire Departments responded to the crash in the 3900 block of I-35 northbound around midnight.
A Jeep had crashed into the back of a trailer being towed by an 18-wheeler driven by a 38-year-old Louisiana man.
The impact from the crash caused the death of the 23-year-old man driving the Jeep, who was identified as Austin Tenpenny.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured in the crash.
The crash is still under investigation by the New Braunfels Police Department Traffic Unit.
