SAN ANTONIO – Google Maps launched an option on Thursday to point users to Lime scooters for 13 cities, including San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas.

  • 13 cities will get option
  • Shows nearest scooter, total journey time, price
  • Link to Lime app

According to MySanAntonio, the app previously only included directions via driving, ridesharing, public transportation, biking and walking.

Users will now be able to see an option for scooters. When the option is clicked on users will see where the nearest scooter is, how long to walk to the scooter, total journey time and estimated time of arrival, pricing and a link to the Lime app.

Users without the Lime app will be taken to the App or Play store.

Others cities will include Baltimore, Indianapolis, Los Angeles, San Diego, Oakland, San Jose, Scottsdale, and Seattle. The feature will also work in Auckland, New Zealand and Brisbane, Australia.
