GIDDINGS, Texas — A Giddings restaurant is raising money for the family of three men who were killed in a crash on Highway 290 and Roy Davis Road Tuesday.

Twenty-one-year-old Jesus Escalante Valdez, 21-year-old Alixis Eduardo Hernandez, and 22-year-old Clemente Nava all died at the scene.

Chelis Mexican Food is donating all sales made Wednesday to the families of the deceased. The restaurant is located at 709 N Main St.
The restaurant will also close on the day of the victims’ funerals.
